Hip problems
Move freely and with ease again
Hip problems can make everyday activities such as walking, climbing stairs, getting up and exercising more difficult. The symptoms may arise suddenly, but they can also develop gradually as a result of overuse, stiffness or a change in the way you move.
What sort of hip problems can we help you with?
- Hip osteoarthritis (wear and tear)
- Tendon problems around the hip (tendinitis)
- Piriformis syndrome
- Pain on the outside of the hip
- Bursitis
- Groin pain (adductors)
- Hip impingement (FAI)
- Hip labrum problems
- Muscle injuries
- Hip problems during or after exercise
- Hip problems following a fall (trauma)
- Rehabilitation following a total hip replacement (THR)
- Rehabilitation following hip surgery
Personalised treatment
During your first appointment, we will discuss your symptoms and assess how your hip moves and functions. We will look at, amongst other things, your range of motion, muscle strength, stability, load-bearing capacity and your movement pattern.
Based on this, we’ll draw up a personalised treatment plan together. Through targeted exercises, advice and a responsible progression of the workload, we’ll work towards reducing your symptoms and improving your strength and range of motion.
For athletes, we also look at the movements and physical demands specific to their sport. In this way, we work step by step towards your personal goal.
Our aim: for you to regain your strength, trust and fun kunt bewegen — in het dagelijks leven én tijdens het sporten.

Anja Biersteker
Physiotherapist
No two complaints or people are the same, and that is precisely what makes my work so interesting. I favour an active and goal-oriented approach. I’ll challenge you where I can and adapt the process where necessary. I won’t settle for a quick fix when there’s more that can be done.

Rehabilitation following an accident
Rosalie is an extremely knowledgeable physiotherapist. She provided me with comprehensive support following a cruciate ligament tear. It’s clear that she really knows what she’s talking about. She’s great at challenging and motivating you with her enthusiasm (but she absolutely won’t let you do anything you’re not yet ready for).
Cruciate ligament rehabilitation
I underwent a course of rehabilitation with Rosalie following knee surgery. Not only did she provide excellent care, but she also made for a lovely, positive and personal experience. I felt seen and heard, and she always made sure that going back to see her was a real pleasure.

Following a serious accident, which left me with a shattered pelvis, I received the very best care and aftercare from Rosalie. I have never met a more dedicated physiotherapist. Hats off to her.
