Rehabilitation following surgery or an accident

Rehabilitation following surgery or an accident

Step by step back to exercise

After an operation or accident, your body needs time and the right support to recover. Everyday movements may be temporarily difficult, and your strength, fitness and confidence may have declined. With a personalised rehabilitation programme, we help you to gradually build up your capacity in a safe and responsible way and return, step by step, to your daily activities, work or sport.

Personal rehabilitation

During your first appointment, we will discuss your operation or accident, your current situation and what you hope to be able to do again. We will assess your range of motion, strength and capacity for physical activity, and draw up a personalised rehabilitation plan based on these findings.

The treatment mainly consists of active exercise therapy. Depending on your situation, we will work on:

We tailor the programme to your recovery and, where necessary, take into account the advice of your doctor or specialist.

We can support you, for example, following:

Focused on your ultimate goal

No two rehabilitation programmes are the same. For some, recovery means being able to walk and climb stairs independently again; for others, it means returning to physical work or sport.

That’s why we build up the workload step by step towards what your body ultimately needs to be able to do again.

Our aim: to ensure that you return to your daily life, work or sport as strong, independent and confident as possible.

No two complaints or people are the same, and that is precisely what makes my work so interesting. I favour an active and goal-oriented approach. I’ll challenge you where I can and adapt the process where necessary. I won’t settle for a quick fix when there’s more that can be done.

Following a serious accident, which left me with a shattered pelvis, I received the very best care and aftercare from Rosalie. I have never met a more dedicated physiotherapist. Hats off to her.

    Rehabilitation following an accident

Rosalie is an extremely knowledgeable physiotherapist. She provided me with comprehensive support following a cruciate ligament tear. It’s clear that she really knows what she’s talking about. She’s great at challenging and motivating you with her enthusiasm (but she absolutely won’t let you do anything you’re not yet ready for).

      Cruciate ligament rehabilitation

I underwent a course of rehabilitation with Rosalie following knee surgery. Not only did she provide excellent care, but she also made for a lovely, positive and personal experience. I felt seen and heard, and she always made sure that going back to see her was a real pleasure.
